HOT TIPS!

Transportation Plans:

The Olympic Transportation System will connect the millions of visitors via train, taxi, bus, ferry, and sea-bus.  As a capstone of this effort, a rapid transit line linking the Vancouver airport (YVR) to the city will be operational by December. Other nearby international airports, albeit small-scale, include Victoria and Abbotsford in Canada, and Bellingham in Washington, USA.

Lodging Options

Although the transit plans are comforting, the thought of accommodations for any Olympic Games is shuddering!

Scoring Tickets

The Vancouver Olympic Committee is planning another round of ticket sales this Fall.  However, unless you are a Canadian, the chances of buying tickets to primo events are slim.

CoSport (the U.S. ticket partner) will be selling tickets for U.S. citizens to individual events as the Vancouver Olympic Committee does.
